Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Velveton, we aim to ensure that your order arrives safely and promptly. The following policy outlines our shipping and delivery procedures for both custom-made items and fabric sold by the metre.

📦 Order Processing Time

• Handmade items (cushions, bed runners, lampshades): Please allow 3–5 business days for production before dispatch.

• Fabric orders: Usually cut and dispatched within 1–2 business days.

• Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

If we expect a delay for any reason, we will contact you directly via email.

🚚 Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

We use Royal Mail, Evri, or DPD depending on the size and weight of your order.

Note: Delivery time starts after the dispatch date, not the order date.

💷 Shipping Costs

• Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on item size, weight, and destination.

• Free UK delivery may be offered on selected products or promotions.

📍 Delivery Address Responsibility

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Velveton is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

🛠️ Made-to-Order Products

For handmade items, each piece is crafted to order. As a result:

• Delivery time includes both production and transit time

• If your order includes both handmade items and fabrics, they may be shipped separately

📷 Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged:

1. Take clear photos of the item and packaging

2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [your email]

3. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate

🌍 International Orders

We currently ship to selected countries outside the UK. Please note:

• Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees

• Delivery times may vary based on location and customs processing
